Hunyuan Qi Gong is an effective Qi Gong-system, of which the roots trace back to ancient taoist traditions.
The term Qi Gong translated means „work with the Qi“ (Qi can be interpretated as cosmic life force) and describes a system consisting of relaxed standing and moving forms of meditations.
They can cause an extensive regeneration of mind and body in only a short period of time, not only improving health, but also contribute to contentment and peace of mind.
Besides its healthfully aspects energy-work is also the foundation for Tai Chi as a martial art.
Through Qi gong inner strength is established and a calm and relaxed mind is developed.
Hunyuan Qi Gong passes on to us centuries old daoistic knowledge and the associated practices. It was handed down by grandmaster Hu Yaozhen, an important Xinyi-master and daoistic doctor and from him again to grandmaster Feng Zhiqiang, who was the one to implement it into the system of practice of Hun Yuan Tai Chi.
Qigong and Tai Chi aims to establish physical and mental healthiness, to balance Yin and Yang of the body thus harmonizing the practitioners energy balance.
Physical improvements of balance, coordination, sensory perception and steady healthiness will arrive. Mental effects are a stronger confidence, an easy spirit, improved concentration and a calm heart. Those qualities are essential for a student, who practices martial arts as a way of spiritual fullfilment. In Hunyuan Qi gong the Yi (Awareness/Intent) is also strengthened, which is of significance for nurturing the Qi. Hunyuan Qi gong is a way of accessing the natural sources of health, vitality and satisfaction, which every person bears inside of them.
